Mahaicony : One of Guyana’s top Criminal Lawyer and now state prosecutor Vic Puran was found dead in his vehicle at Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara, this morning. Details are still sketchy as to how the prominent lawyer met his death.
Puran was representing Home Affairs Minister Clement Rohee during the Linden Shooting Commission of Inquiry.
Puran was also the attorney that represented drug lord Shaheed Roger Khan before he was extradited to the USA where he is now facing a 15 year sentence on narcotic charges.
Only yesterday one of Khan’s former associate Regan Rodgrigues was gun down in city.
