Court adjourned hearing on Redjet

Redjet Airline will have to wait a while to find out if the High Court will approve its plan to pay creditors.

Justice William Chandler postponed a hearing of the matter scheduled for yesterday because of a lost file.

Anthony Audian, attorney at law for trustee Dr Grenville Phillips confirmed to Trakker News that there was progress on the matter yesterday. Audian said no new date has been set and the matter was not likely to be heard unti next January.

Last month, most of Redjet's creditors voted in favour of accepting the airline's offer of a minimum 25 cents on every dollar owned, Audian made an application to the court to get approval to sort out the payment.

He said at that time the court would have to decide whether the proposa was feasible and reasonabe before the airline could go ahead.
