COPA AIRLINES RESUMES FLIGHTS IN TOCUMEN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Copa Airlines announces that it has resumed most of its flights departing from Panama City, Panama, and that it expects to fully resume its flights to and from Panama by Tuesday morning.

Approximately 140 flights were cancelled on Monday at Tocumen International Airport due to a power outage which occurred early this morning, and which resulted in the closing of the airport. Copa Airlines is taking all necessary measures so that its passengers arrive at their final destinations as soon as possible, including allowing passengers to change or cancel their itineraries without penalty and based on the availability of flights.

To access updated information on the status of flights, Copa Airlines encourages its passengers to periodically visit www.copaair.com/en/web/gs/flight-status. We urge passengers whose flights have been canceled and would therefore like to change their itinerary to call the Copa Airlines reservation center in their country (www.copaair.com/en/web/gs/reservation-center) or visit the airline’s reservations office or the ticket counters in their airports of origin directly.

Copa Airlines regrets the inconvenience its passengers may have experienced as a result of this situation, which falls beyond the control of the airline, and would like to assure its customers of its commitment to help them complete their travel itineraries as soon as possible.
