Commissioner express regret over death of lawmen

Kingston, Jamaica.

 Commissioner of Police Owen Ellington has expressed regret over the deaths of two members of the Jamaica Constabulary  Force (JFC) over the weekend.

In a release last night, the Constabulary Communication Network said Detective Sergeant Ludlow Mowatt and Constable Davion Williams died of natural causes mere hours apart.

Sergeant Mowatt was attached to the St Catherine South Division while Constable Williams worked at the Lucea Police Station in Hanover.

Detective Sergeant Mowho died on Saturday  was a lawman for  32-years, the commissioner said  he earned the necessary accolades and commendations for his tremendous service to the police force and his country.

Constable Williams died yesterday shortly after collapsing during a game of football in Lucea. He  joined the JCF 18 months ago.
