Georgetown : President Donald Ramotar and Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Finance Winston Dookeran engaged in a discourse on coalition politics which is now a new experience on the Twin Island Republic.
According to the Government Information Agency, the meeting took place at the Office of the President where Minister Dookeran paid a courtesy call on the President after meeting other officials at the Guyana International Conference Centre, Liliendaal for the Caribbean Development Roundtable (CDR) discussion on solutions to current development challenges.
During the discourse with the Guyanese Head of State, Minister Dookeran presented his recently published book “Power Politics and Performance” to President Ramotar.
After the meeting, Minister Dookeran gave an insight into the book which he said addressed the political challenges being experienced in his homeland.
