Charity gives monetary donation to QEH

Bridgetown.

Ailing children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) should benefit very soon from improved care within the department.

This is expected to be the result of a donation from local charity group 'A Gift For The Children'.

The funds are expected to assist with enhancing staff training and purchasing equipment.

Charity representative Shelly Ross noted that it was easy to choose the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit  given the important part it plays looking after the health and well being of the nation's children.

She made the comment while joining local entertainer Tony Poser Grazette in making a monetary donation to the QEH's ward.

Pediatrician at the QEH Dr. Clyde Cave noted that the donation will go a long way towards enhancing staff training in the department.
