The Concern Citizens Movement (CCM) won a one seat victory in the Nevis Island Administration Elections held yesterday according to the premliminary figures released last night.
According to the figures, the CCM led by former Premier Vance Amory had defeated the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP) led by Joseph Parry the out going Premier.
Parry had opted for a national elections rather that a by-election following a high court ruling last year that removed a one seat majority his party held since 2011.
