Attorney at Law Larry Bethell, is no longer on remand and one charge of theft against him was dropped in the District A Magistrates Court yesterday.
Bethell, 70, of Club Morgan, Christ Church, was arrested and remanded to HMP Dodds on Monday for failing to attend court. He is accused of stealing $33,592, between December 30, and January 13, belonging Lennox Crichlow.
Yesterday Crichlow told the court Bethell had repaid the money as a result no evidence was offered against him.
Acting Chief Magistrate Deborah Holder dismissed the matter.
