Berbice : The police this morning have launched an investigation into the murder of carpenter, Marlon Andrew Ramcharran of Tain Settlement, Corentyne, last evening.
18 year old Ramcharran was on his way home after leaving a liquor bar when he was attacked by two men armed with cutlasses. He was chopped about his body and subsequently taken to the Port Mourant Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
