Berbice : The driver of Minibus BHH 1812 is now in police custody assisting in the investigation into the death of an unidentified male of East Indian decent.
Enquiries disclosed that motor bus BHH 1812 was proceeding along the roadway of Cotton Tree Public Road, West Coast Berbice, last night when it is alleged that the victim attempted to cross the road and was struck down. He was taken to the Fort Wellington Hospital and pronounced dead on arrival.
