Building Expo 2011 to be held from July 29-31 – T&T and Suriname included

Georgetown : The Ministry of Housing and water will stage their second Building exposition from July 29th at the Guyana National Stadium with a special attraction from the President.

Subject minister, Irfan Ali disclosed that this year there will be a President’s award for innovation and research will be awarded to the successful company which can develop a creative product suited for the local market and which captures the attention of consumers.

Ali pointed out a number of new initiatives will be launched, private developers will receive a boost to their business as there will be a full scale model for development available.  
With respect to capacity, Minister Ali said that staff from the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA), have designed the facility conducive for a easy flow of persons to and from the exposition.  

The family experience at the expo will be a tremendous one since it will also pave the way for persons to make better decisions when constructing their dream home, as companies from Trinidad and Suriname are slated to participate.
