Georgetown : The Guyana Energy Authority (Amendment) Bill which will address inconsistencies and loop-holes with regards to fuel smuggling will also be tabled according to Dr. Luncheon.
He pointed out that the Government’s aim to ensure that the constitutional rights of Guyanese are enjoyed, the HPS however, said that legislations to create an authority which will ensure that national obligations under the convention in trade of endangered species are applied, will not be tabled shortly, as more work is needed for a parliamentary ready version.
