BLP present its Manifesto tonight

Bridgetown.

The Opposition Barbados Labour Party  (BLP) will be launching its manifesto tonight at  Eagle Hall, St Michael tonight. The manifesto will outline the party's vision for Barbados in the months and years to come.

Already speakers at meetings held by the BLP in past two weeks have hinted at the issues that are iexpected to be in the document, among them are the economy, housing and alternate energy.

Members of the public see a manifesto as social contract, it is therefore a critical document whose promises are the seldom bond of the party and should be carried out  to ensure credibility.

The meeting starts at 7.30 p.m, several of the party's top brass headed by former prime minister Owen Arthur will make presentations to the public.
