Big lost

Bridgetown.

The loss of fast bowler Kemar Roach will be a big blow to the West Indies team on their tour to Bangladesh say coach Ottis Gibson.

"It is a big blow for us, Kemar has been been our leading bowler in tests matches in the last 12 months", Gibson told the press on the second day of a warm up match between the West Indies and the Sagicor High Performance Centre at the Three Ws Oval.

Gibson is hopeful that Roach will be fit for the One Day Internationals that follows the test series.

"It is not a major injury, it just means that he cannot travel with us. He has already started his rehab.   I am  hopeful that Kemar can recover within the next three weeks and play in the One Day series", Gibson said.

Roach injured his knee while playing  club match in Barbados three weeks ago.
