Better water from the BWA

Bridgetown.

The Barbados Water Authority (BWA)  is burrowing US$50 million from the Inter American Bank (IDB) to improve their services on the island. The purpose of the loan from the IADB is to impetement the Water and Sanitation Systems Upgrade Project, which also includes  a hydrological study,  mains repacement programme; a computer systems overhaul,

According to Lawrence Cumberbatch, project manager of the BWA , project will mean a very efficient BWA that can respond to to all of the requirements of  the customers.

"We are going to have the technology to reband the organization and make it the best utility company in Barbados",Cumberbatch said.
