Berbice: Police nabbed Marlon Balgobin, 36, of Victoria Street, Cumberland East Canje, Berbice with (9 1/2 grams) of cocaine. He was charged and appeared before Magistrate Adela Nagamootoo today charge with possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
He pleaded not guilty. Prosecutor Sergeant Phillip Sheriff appeared for the state asked that bail be refused. He was refused bail and will have to return to court on the March 13, 2013.
