Berbice : The police are investigating the suspected murder of Verone Patoir, 40 years of Stanleytown, Berbice, who was found in her home at 2:45pm. with chop wounds about the body. She was pronounced death on arrival at the New Amsterdam Hospital.
A knife and a rolling pin were recovered at the scene and a man has been arrested by the police. He is in custody assisting with the investigations.
