Berbice : Last night Saitanya Kishundyal, 21 years, of Rosehall, Corentyne, was closing the gate to his residence when he was confronted by a man armed with a firearm during which there was a scuffle and he was shot to his abdomen and the assailant escaped.
Saitanya Kishundyal has been admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital as the investigations continue.
