Berbice : At about 3pm Monday, Deonarine Juianand, 58 years, of No. 19 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, was involved in an argument with his wife Totmattie Juianand, 50 years, during which he is alleged to have chopped her about her body. She has been admitted to the New Amsterdam Hospital.
Deonarine Juianand was later found hanging from the ceiling in his home. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the New Amsterdam Hospital.
Investigations are in progress.
