Berris Thompson, 42,a farmer of Victoria Town, Asia, Manchester farmer was beheaded in the parish yesterday.
His headless body was discovered near a coal kiln he operates in the community. Police investigators say his head has not been recovered.
According to police reports, Thompson left home shortly after 5 a.m. to check on his kiln, after he failed to return home, residents mounted a search and his body was discovered near the kiln.
Relatives say Thompson, who has two daughters, was a hardworking farmer and a caring father and they can’t understand why anyone would want to kill him.
