Bridgetown.
A special weather bulletin was issued today for Barbados by the Meteorological Services.
The bulletin stated that a area of low pressure was centered near 9 degree south,39.6 degree west or about 1400 miles or 2255 km to the east, south east of Barbados.
According to the bulletin there is a strong possibility that the system could be a Tropical Storm by the time it approaches Barbados early Saturday morning.
