Bridgetown.

Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite has acknowledged that Barbadians have issues the atttude and conduct of some police officers.

"The police have some short comings in this area and both the commissioner and I are aware that this is an issue tthat needs to be address", Brathwaite told Trakker News.

Police officers have to be mindful and take greater care in how they communicate with members of the public, this came out in a survey that was conducted recently which indicated that many Barbadians were concern and were not happy with the way some police officers responded to them", he added.

Brathwaite said he was proposing to have a call centre that embody all the emergency services including the police, fire and ambulance services, that would be manned by professional trained personnel in an attempt to solve the problem.
