Georgetown :The police conducted. investigations into a report of armed robbery committed on a motorist at about 8pm yesterday by two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm, at Industrial Site, Georgetown.
During the robbery the victim’s motor car was taken away. The vehicle was subsequently recovered at Middle Road, La Penitence, Georgetown, by the police and a sawn off 20 gauge shotgun with one cartridge was found in the vehicle.
Investigations are in progress.
