Autopsy on baby could prove negligence

Port of Spain: Relatives of 34-year-old mom, Michelle Chang-Ragoonath are today awaiting the results of an autopsy on her still-born baby.
The autopsy, sheduled to begin shortly, will determine whether the baby's death and Chang-Ragoonaths sepsis and subsequent coma are a result of her private doctor's negligence.
Sources at the Mount Hope Medical Science Complex, where the mother remains in a coma, revealed that the hospital was doing the autopsy to exonerate themselves from the baby's death.
"The baby was already dead for two days when the mom was brought to us," the source revealed.
She also noted that the hospital was putting together further information that proved private doctor's often "dumped" distressed cases at the public hospital to keep mortality rates low at the private facilities.

Caribbean Trakker is keeping in contact with the family and will bring the autopsy results and further details as the situation unfolds.

  1. What madness is happening in the medical world? A doctor is supposed to do whats best for the patient, not for a private hospitals reputation. This man needs to be brought to justice IMMEDIATELY!!
