Georgetown : At about 9pm yesterday, rice farmer Jaiswah Boodnarine, 59 years, was in the yard of his residence with his wife and two friends when they were held up by five men, two of whom were armed with a firearm and a cutlass.
The perpetrators took away Jaiswah Boodnarine’s licensed shotgun along with $200,000.00 and a quantity of jewellery and escaped.
Investigations are in progress.
