APNU says PPP resort to their usual divisive tactics

Georgetown : A Partnership for National Unity (A.P.N.U) has noted the rantings of Robert Persaud that was broadcast on the National television Network (NCN) in response to the green wave of citizens that flowed freely through the streets of Georgetown on Nomination Day.

APNU pointed out, shocked and frightened by the size and energy of the masses of working people surging joyfully towards City Hall in support of A.P.N.U’s Candidates Lists, the spin doctors at Freedom House went to work.

Robert Persaud called them “thugs” and “hooligans” and accused them of attacking the police and jumping over the gate of City Hall. He owes the citizens of Georgetown an immediate apology.

APNU maintained that there supporters did not behave like what was peddled by Persaud.
