Another Jamaican caught with drugs at the GAIA

Bridgetown.

 Another Jamaican national has been caught at the Grantley Adams International Airport (CAIA) trying to smuggle drugs into Barbados.

The man, who arrived in Barbados yesterday is yet to be charged, he currently under police watch at a medical facility under suspicion of ingesting a quantity of cannabis.

He is the fifth Jamaican national to be held by police regarding the trafficking of illegal drugs for the year so far. One other man and three women were previously held.
