Another Government leader stands by Jack Warner

Port-of-Spain: The head of the Movement for Social Justice, (MSJ) Labour Minister Errol Mcleod says he does not share the view by some within the government that  Works and Transport MInister Jack Warner should not step down pending the outcome of the fifa investigation into allegations of bribery against him.

The MSJ is one of the five political parties that make up the People's Partnership Government.

Mcleod says he sees no reason for his colleague Jack Warner to step down.

He has admitting that he heard that the Congress of the People's (COP) Deputy Political Leader, Legal Affairs Minister Prakash Ramdhar calling on Warner to resign. McLeod says the Partnership does not stifle the belief of any one political party and added that the COP is entitled to its opinion.

The COP is the second largest party of the Partnership Government.

McLeod says the entire situation has left him questioning the credibility of the world's Governing football body, FIFA.

Little Jack Warner sitting in the corner…, tell them your “wrongdoing” is not as bad as the MBTT parasitic oligarchy acting as if they by themselves are the T&T Ministry of Foreign Affairs, embarking on an anti-Cuba campaign, leaving the 283 year old University of Havana off the list of Traditional Universities, and blocking Cuban doctors and Cuban-trained Trinbagonian doctors from practicing medicine in T&T. Is the MBTT now dictating T&T foreign policy, and enforcing the illegal USA embargo against Cuba (a truly free, sovereign, and independent state with which T&T has had ties thru the Cold War), towards making T&T a USA puppet state?
