All systems in place for Royal visit

Bridgetown.

All systems are in place for the visit of the Earl and Countess of Wessex to Barbados on Thursday and Friday. Minister of Labour, Dr Esther Byer Suckoo, who is in charge of coordinating activities  told the press this afternoon.

Byer-Suckoo said the planning committee had make sure they find new places for the Royal Couple to visit. Prince Edward and Princess Sophie will attend a joint sitting of Parliament, tour  the museum, visit the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies and the Children Development Centre and the Prince Cave  Hall.

The Earl and Countess are visiting the island to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth the Second.
