Georgetown : Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Anil Nandlall  handed over copies of the revised Laws of Guyana, as well as the country’s law reports to President of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ), Sir Charles Dennis Byron as the court concluded its first itinerant sitting in Guyana at the Guyana International Conference Centre last evening.

“As far as we know, this is the first time a State has made a donation of this sort to the court, and I express appreciation to you for it,” Sir Byron said.

Under the Government of Guyana-Inter-American Development Bank’s Modernisation of the Justice Administration System (MJAS) project, the law reports and the laws of Guyana were updated and digitalised.
