AFC calls for a joint service operation to recapture the prison escapees

Georgetown : The Alliance For Change (AFC) is calling for a speedy joint service operation to have the four prisoners who escaped from the New Amsterdam Prison on June 12th  recaptured.

The AFC submits that such breaches endanger the very important deliverable of public security.  The AFC recalls that the 2002 prison break in Georgetown ignited an unprecedented crime wave which threatened the core of our social, economic and political stability.

The AFC expects that a speedy investigation of this unpardonable lapse by the prison authorities will be conducted and that condign punitive measures would be taken against those guilty of dereliction of duty.
