The 8th Annual African Diaspora Heritage Trail (ADHT) Conference was officially launched at the Ministry of Tourism yesterday.
Speaking at the launch, Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy, said Barbados has been represented at all of the previous ADHT conferences and has always been committed to the preservation of its African history and heritage.
"We are pleased to have been selected as the host destination for this annual gathering and visitors and dignitaries from across the African continent and its Diaspora",Sealy said.
The conference will start on September 17.
