Georgetown : Police carrying out their investigations into a report of threatening behaviour, conducted a search on a house at Third Street, Mon Repos, East Coast Demerara, where an unlicensed .25 Titan Pistol with fifteen matching rounds was found.
A man was arrested and is in police custody.
Meanwhile last evening ranks of a mobile police patrol stopped and searched two men who were walking along Broad Street, Charlestown.
An unlicensed .32 pistol with five rounds, a hand-grenade and a toque mask were found in a haversack that one of them was carrying.
The men have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
