Essequibo : The police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred on the Sparta Public Road, Essequibo Coast, and which resulted in the death of motor cyclist Bhagwandin, 61 years, of Lima, Essequibo Coast.
Investigations have revealed that Bhagwandin was driving his motor cycle along the roadway, when it is alleged that he attempted to cross to the other side of the road and was struck down by a motor car that was travelling behind.
He was taken to the Suddie Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
