West Coast Demerara : Investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident that occurred at on the De Willem Public Road, WCD, and which resulted in the death of pedal cyclist Imran Mohamed, 56 years, of De Willem.
The investigations have so far revealed that Imran Mohamed attempted to cross the roadway on his bicycle and was struck down by a motor lorry. He was admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the motor vehicle is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
