Georgetown: Pensioners began collecting their 2013 Old Age Pension books Monday morning. The books are printed and distributed on an annual basis throughout the 10 administrative regions at locations nearest to pensioners’ home.
Every Guyanese 65 years and over is entitled to an old age pension. At present there are about 44,000 pensioners receiving a monthly sum of GUY$10,000.
