East Bank Demerara : Pedal cyclist Feliciano Clenkien known as ‘Shawn Hopkinson’of Timehri Public Road died after being struck down by a motor car at Timehri Public Road, East Bank Demerara.
Enquiries disclosed that motor vehicle PMM 1817 was proceeding along the Timehri Public Road when it is alleged that the 20 year old pedal cyclist attempted to cross the road from behind a parked car and was struck down. He was rushed to the Diamond Diagnostic Centre where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the motor car is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
