$115 million drug bust in Biche forest

Biche: Police say they have destroyed marijuana fields with a value of $115 million in the Charuma Forest in Biche. It is the second such discovery in two days.

On Tuesday police destroyed close to $160 million worth of marijuana in the same forest.

Corporate Communications Offcer of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Sharon Lee assang told the media that officers from the Eastern Division Task Force and the Organised Crime and Narcotics Unit were joined by officers from the Defence Force in the latest raid.
