Ocean Spray Hotel where the bandit were caught
Georgetown : At around 12:30pm today the police swiftly cornered three bandits at the Ocean spray Hotel at the junction of the Rupert Craig Highway and Vlissengen Road. Initial reports stated that the men robbed a family at Prashad Nagar and within minutes the police was notified and a high car chased began. The bandits drove into the Hotel yard and hid under a counter. It is not sure if there was an exchange in gunfire, but the police caught three of the four bandits. The other person escaped on foot with a gun.
The police recovered a bag with money from the car the gunmen used. A hunt in Kitty area has started for the lone escapee.
