Several areas in St Michael were flooded yesterday as a trough system located to the west of Barbados drench the island with heavy rains.
Martinales Road, Tudor Bridge, Bush Hall and Baxters Road were among the areas flooded.According the Barbados Meteorlgical Office, a trough system located to the west of island has induced the northward movement of the inter-tropical convergence zone across Barbados.
The Met Office says the unsettle conditions will continue over the weekend with moderate to heavy thundershowers and advised people in flood prone areas to excerise caution and remain alert.
