Sir David sworn in as chairman of CoE into attempted coup
SIR David Simmons was today sworn in as the chairman of the Commission of Inquiry into the 1990 attempted coup.
Simmons, Diana Mahabir-Wyatt, Dr Eastlyn Mc Kenzie, Sir Richard Cheltenham and Dr HA Mohammed were sworn in at the Knowsley Building today.
The thrust of the first People’ Partnership budget is to Bridge Entrepreneurship and Development, Finance Minister Winston Dookeran has said. He just wrapped up a two-hour plus presentation at the Red House entitled "Facing the issues,Turning the Economy Around".
