The Guyana Power and light Company this morning appealed to citizens to desist from attempting illegal connections on their network. The warning came n the wake of the death of a Sophia resident who was electrocuted yesterday by illegal wire connection at his home.
The power company said they are fighting a daily battle to stop illegal connections and the company invested over four billion dollars in a new network to facilitate almost 300 communities access to electricity.
