Guyana Association for Culture and Friendship with China headed by businessman Edward Boyer this evening hosted a meeting with a 20 man delegation out of China in an effort to strengthen cooperation and long term friendship between the two countries. The hour long meeting included members of the business community and executives of the Association. Among key issues raised is the proposal for both countries to engage on expertise in the food and mining sectors. In his deliberations to the delegation, the Association’s President Edward Boyer said that the two countries continue to enjoy great cooperation and this evening’s meeting was very fruitful on the way forward. Boyer added that over the years there has often been efficient communication between the two countries and the relationship he hopes will see continued economic and bilateral agreements.
