Labour Minister tells workers: “fight for your rights”

Labour Minister Errol Mc Leod has urged employees to fight for their rights.
Mc Leod the former president of the Oilfield Workers Trade Union (OWTU) said despite his current position as a Cabinet Minister he is urging workers to not take victimisation from anyone including the State.
Mc Leod’s comments come at a time when the Public Service Association (PSA) has orchestrated protest action against the Chief Personnel Officer (CPO).
The PSA is protesting the CPO’s offer of an one per cent salary increase for public servants.
