Chateau Margot, East Coast Demerara – Relatives are reeling in sorrow following the loss of their dear one Dennis Ramah, who was cut down by armed criminals that invaded his business place in broad daylight just after 9 in the morning. The attack also left a criminal dead , one injured and another in police custody. From all reports there were six men who came in a yellow car parked at the head of the street, but only three carried out the attack, while a police hunt is on for the others. Two bystanders were also injured in the hail of gunshot that went off. According to Police sources, the men in custody may be able to provide valuable leads to the possible arrest of their accomplices. Based on reports this may be a main gang responsible for many of the recent robbery attacks along the eastern corridor. This attack come at a time when the Police is beefing up it’s presence across the country anticipating an upsurge in crime as the holiday season gets underway.
