Neurosugeon to arrive in Guyana within the next 2 hours- Murray’s condition unchanged

PNC/R vice chairman Winston Murray remains in intensive care up to mid-morning Sunday, still on life support. According to medical doctors attending him, Murray’s condition is unchanged since he was rushed to the hospital in an unconscious state late Thursday afternoon.

Reports early this morning are that the Neurosurgeon is en-route to Guyana and is expected to land here within the next 2 hours. According to Murray’s close associate Edmund Braithwaite, all is ready for a thorough evaluation and possible surgical procedure once the doctor arrives.

Doctors have concluded based on a CT scan that the PNC/R shadow Minister is suffering from severe brain hemorrhage reportedly from when he collapsed on Thursday. There are concerns that if he pulls through his current medical condition may put an end to his political career.
