East Berbice, Region Six: Due to the recent spring tides, the government has moved to ease the problems of flooding at Canjie, Berbice by constructing a $79 million greenheart revetment at Lochabar area.
This was announced by Head of the Presidential Secretariat Dr. Roger Luncheon after Cabinet met this week.
In that same region (six), $15 million will be spent to rehabilitate the Skeldon Hospital and an additional $20 million for the procurement of supply of breast milk substitute.
