Cn Sharma remains out of sight as his medical history answer recent statements by the President .

Since his return on Monday last embattled tv host Cn Sharma is not talking to the press and remains out of the lime light.  His office however sent a statement to the press about his medical history as an answer to the recent statements made by President Jagdeo at a press conference.

The President called on the authorities to prosecute Cn Sharma since he was convinced that there was enough evidence to convict him. He added that Sharma was deliberately staying away from prosecution. Sharma reportedly said that it is not the President’s unfortunate statements that forced his return from Canada, but he understood his obligation to attend court despite being ill and still under medical observation.

The medical history provided by Sharma’s office stated that in the early 1990’s, Sharma was diagnosed by Dr. Hanoman with a heart condition called Angina. This condition the statement added worsened over the years even with treatment locally. In February he underwent a stent surgery at the Caribbean Heart Institute. In April and subsequent months to follow Sharma went through numerous medical treatment after he collapsed and was admitted at the Balwant Singh hospital where doctors advised that he needed a pacemaker inserted. Following his departure for overseas treatment doctors confirmed the need for a pacemaker and that several weeks of tests needed to be carried out. However he was forced to leave because of the court date.
