A lone gunman just after 12:00 today stop a Banks DIH beverage truck which was making a delivery in Wisroc, Linden area and took away fifty thousand dollars from the driver and escaped.
The police Anti-Crime Patrol promptly responded to the report and caught the suspect hiding in a septic tank in the area. An unlicensed .38 revolver along with four matching rounds and all the stolen cash were recovered by the police.
The man is in police custody and will be charged to appear in court tomorrow.
