More criticisms have been levelled at Opposition Leader Dr Keith Rowley today for statements he made on Saturday about Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar "over-reacting" to Fridays storm warnings.
Minister of Arts and Multiculturalism Winston Peters has slammed Rowley for his statements saying that Persad-Bissessar’s proactive move should have commended and not condemned.
The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) says the country has seen how "moderate" rainfall has affected communities.
And that it is "better to have a well prepared citizenry than an underprepared one."
